Spent Friday night donating my time for a fundraiser for MND research and it was well worth it!

This was a first for me and I really didn’t know what to expect; I certainly didn’t expect the 600-strong guests in the event nor that the plan we were given went out the door as soon as the guests arrived. I was meant to show guests their seats but when the people started rolling in, one of the stalls that were selling cubic zirconia earrings was undermanned. But I certainly didn’t mind as we all had to chip in where required.

What's Up?

I just checked my feed and there doesn’t seem to be the same amount of new feeds coming in like there used to (used to being, at least 3 years ago).

There’s definitely some drop-off but I can’t quantify it.

Checking my own behaviour, I rarely WordPress which is kind of sad. I used to write quite often, but I’ve consumed more recently and I feel that if I continue on this trend, I’ll lose the skill.

What's Up?

Well, this was definitely not planned. It was one of those things that just kinda happened…you get into a routine, you stick with it, you keep going, before you know it you got 3 months, half a year, 3 quarters…then BOOM! One whole year of the gym!

How does something like this ‘kinda‘ happen?  To be fair, the gym was no accident – it was definitely by design. It started a while back, which then progressed to my last post, and ended up right here on this post.

Old fashioned viral

What's Up?

We hopefully will stand up a physical shop in the local markets to meet as many passers-by as we can, in a bid to present, and hopefully, sell a few of our products. Going online viral is one thing — and it takes a considerable amount of effort to convert the casual visitor into sales.

But our strength in the CN community means that we can greet people with the good old fashioned handshake with a “hello, how are you”. This will hopefully be the difference in connecting with people; we want to grow viral locally first — then branch out.

Here’s what we’ll have.

Creating the Collective Network

What's Up?

If you have been following my blog for a while, you might have noticed that I have been conspicuously away for long periods of time. I have been busy developing the Collective Network— a network of creative individuals.

We first started with having photography as a common interest and sharing our snaps on Instagram. Now that we’re a month-and-a-bit old, we actually discovering a few more things about ourselves; we enjoy creating all sorts of things.

Golden Holidays

What's Up?

I cannot believe that I have been at work for 2 weeks now, and I have been hitting things quite hard both at work and with a new initiative. The Christmas holidays feels like a distant memory..

Thank goodness for all these great pics I managed to take while I was on holidays.

The Gold Coast

There is a reason why they call this place ‘The Gold Coast‘ – and the pictures prove it.

My days were filled with early morning swims between 7-8 am and believe it or not, there were already a few people going for a swim. The water and the morning sun made the swim just right
