We got purple in Tassie

Uncategorized

Looks quite strange right? These are lavender hills in Tasmania described in the source as:

Tasmania, land of lavender.

In January, one of the most spectacular sites are the rolling hills of lavender, especially at the popular Bridestowe Lavender Farm in Nabowla, 50 kilometres from Launceston.  On site, Woodcroft Cafe sells products flavoured with lavender like brownies, ice cream and honey.

The Lavender House in Rowella — 50 minutes’ drive from Launceston — is also a divine place to encounter these fragrant blooms while shopping for perfume. At their perfumery, you can also visit their manufacturing and processing areas.
