Street Walks # 5: Representing the Inner West

Arts, Street Walks, What's Up?

Martin

This wall mural is a landmark in King Street, Newtown within Sydney’s Inner West. It’s been installed for as long as I can remember and I can’t honestly remember what came before this (although I am sure there have been other pieces to grace this corner).

The yellow disc, black and red areas symbolise the Australian Aboriginal Flag.

And we all ought to know who that ‘dreamer’ is.
