‘Stretch the Truth’ service

Source: Forbes

Like the writer of this post, I could not believe that there was even such a service as this:

For $54 a month, one of Paladin’s “agents” will receive phone calls in your area code, pose as a friend, boss or coworker, and answer questions however you want them answered, whether that involves praising your job performance or vouching for your whereabouts that weekend to your wife. It also handles email correspondence.

This service was apparently available through Facebook ad’s but has now been taken down due to a few ‘undisclosed reasons’.

I’ve heard a few strange things in my life and this is (was) one of them.
