Here’s some good driving news. Technology giants Intel alongside Carnegie Mellon have developed headlights that reduce the blinding effect of rain.
No longer will you have to ‘wait for the rain’ to clear before driving out. This piece of technology will reduce “driver stress and makes roads more safe during rain and snow storms”.
I suspect that this would really benefit countries where rainfall is heavy – i.e. tropical countries – and countries which are subject to heavy rainfall.
No word yet as to when these will be made available to the public.
